FOUNDER, FATHERLESS DAUGHTER MOVEMENT
Denna Babul is an award-winning author of the poignant book "The Fatherless Daughter Project: Understanding Our Losses and Reclaiming Our Lives" (Avery-Penguin-Random House 2016). With another book and dozens of press mentions behind her, she has become the voice of fatherless daughters, specializing in helping women who've lost their dads (or not had father figures at all) reconcile their pasts in order to find their life purpose..
After tragically losing her father when she was thirteen, Denna decided depression was not all it was cracked up to be (!) and she made the decision to step away from the pity party and into the world of advocacy. She founded a non-profit, produced a short documentary on fatherless daughters, and co-authored a book.
Now, Denna commits her career to the Fatherless Daughter Movement, which focuses on empowering fatherless daughters and the people who love them through group work, one-on-one sessions, family reconciliations and a newly thriving mentorship program.
At Campowerment, Denna will talk about how to shift your story into a powerful one and tone down the pain you’ve been carrying, even if your dad is still around. It’s never too late to work through your daddy stuff.
