Mercedes Soler is a global news correspondent and prominent female figure in investigative journalism in Latin America and the U.S. A five-time Emmy-Award winner (and 15-time nominee), Mercedes is currently the anchor for CNN en Español’s NotiMujer, a daily live television program. In 2011 she received the Peabody Award for her coverage of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and in all her years, she’s collected an astounding reputation for pursuing truth, as senior correspondent and anchor for Univision, a columnist, radio commentator, producer, director and professor.

And then there was the book she published with HarperCollins in the mid-2000’s called “Dish and Tell: Love, Life and Secrets by the Miami Bombshells.” A co-author? Tammi Leader Fuller, chairman of our board and Chief Empowerment Officer at Campowerment. Two of six women in media in Miami who penned the honest account of struggling to juggle the many curveballs life throws, Mercedes and Tammi have stayed friends throughout the years and always dreamed of reuniting in their mission to empower women.

Mercedes is thrilled to do so with her thought leadership and involvement with Give Her Camp.
