Campowerment Terms & Conditions – Retreats
REFUNDS
All retreat tickets are non-refundable.
Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded for any reason, including illness, travel issues, personal emergencies, weather, or changes in availability.
TRANSFER POLICY
Tickets may be transferred to another woman (21+ years old) for the same retreat.
The original purchaser is responsible for:
- finding the replacement attendee
- handling any financial exchange directly
- notifying Campowerment in writing to complete the transfer
Tickets may not be transferred to a future retreat.
All transfers must be processed and confirmed through [email protected] no later than 72 hours before the start of the retreat.
LODGING, HOUSE & ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
On-site accommodations are assigned on a first-come, first-reserved basis at the time of registration.
While we do our best to honor preferences, Campowerment cannot guarantee specific houses, room types, bed sizes, or layouts.
ON-SITE HOURS FOR OFF-SITE GUESTS
Off-site Campers are welcome and permitted at the venue from 10am until the end of scheduled programming each day. Off-Site Campers are not permitted inside the homes at the venue and as such, are not permitted to stay in the accommodations overnight.
NO OUTSIDE GUESTS
Only registered retreat participants may be present in accommodations or retreat spaces. Outside guests are not permitted.
BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
Campowerment reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others, including staff, or the property.
Removal will be without refund, and Campowerment is not responsible for alternative lodging or travel.
ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
Camper agrees to comply with all local and state laws during the retreat. Illegal drugs and controlled substances are strictly prohibited on the property.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the retreat without refund.
ALCOHOL RESPONSIBILITY
Campowerment will not be serving alcohol during the retreat. The venue does operate a bar at the on-site restaurant during dinner service.
If Camper chooses to consume alcohol, Camper does so voluntarily and is fully responsible for their own alcohol consumption, behavior, and decisions, including transportation to and from the venue. Camper agrees to comply with all venue and Campowerment policies regarding alcohol service and consumption.
Campowerment is not responsible for any consequences resulting from Camper’s alcohol use, including injury, illness, property damage, or driving while impaired.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all buildings and lodging at the retreat venue. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas, if available.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE
Camper is financially responsible for any damage to the venue, accommodations, furnishings, décor, grounds, or equipment caused by Camper’s actions. Additionally, if Campowerment is charged by the venue for alcohol- or smoking-related rule violations, damage, excessive cleaning, staff intervention, or any other costs resulting from Camper’s actions, Camper authorizes Campowerment to charge the credit card on file for the full amount of such charges. Documentation will be provided upon request.
Campowerment reserves the right to remove any Camper whose behavior related to alcohol is disruptive, unsafe, or violates venue policies. Removal will be without refund.
CONDITION OF ACCOMMODATIONS & EXCESSIVE CLEANING
Camper agrees to leave accommodations in reasonable condition upon departure.
Additionally, glitter, confetti, petals, rice, birdseed, party string, or any material that requires special cleanup from the grounds or buildings is strictly prohibited.
If Campowerment is charged by the venue for excessive cleaning, stains, trash removal, damage to linens or furnishings, or failure to follow venue policies, Camper authorizes Campowerment to charge the credit card on file for the full amount of such charges. Documentation will be provided upon request.
QUIET HOURS AFTER 10 P.M.
Quiet Hours begin at 10:00 PM. No amplified music outdoors after this time, and noise levels must be kept low in lodging areas.
Inside homes, Camper agrees to be respectful of all housemates and/or roommates at all times, especially before breakfast and after each day’s scheduled programming.
HOLD HARMLESS
By attending, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with travel, group gatherings, physical activities, and use of the property.
You agree to release and hold harmless Campowerment, its officers, employees, directors and representatives contractors, and venue partners from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, fines and expenses arising out of, relating to or resulting from participation in the program, except in cases of gross negligence of Campowerment.
PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE
Campowerment may photograph or record portions of the retreat for promotional and archival purposes.
By attending, you grant Campowerment permission to use your image, likeness, and voice in such materials in perpetuity.
SCHEDULE, PROGRAMMING & CHANGES
Retreat programming, experts/facilitators, and schedules are subject to change based on availability, weather, or operational needs.
No refunds will be issued due to changes in schedule, programming, or experts/facilitators.
TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION DISCLAIMER
Campowerment does not provide transportation to or from the retreat.
Attendees are responsible for their own travel, including navigating mountain roads and weather conditions. Travel delays are not grounds for a refund.
PAYMENT PLANS
– Camper may choose to make Campowerment retreat purchase with a payment plan until 70 days prior to retreat. All payment plan options close 70 days prior to each retreat.
– All plans feature 3 equal installments, 30 days apart, the first of which is paid at registration, the second and third of which are auto-deducted from the credit card used at registration 30 and 60 days post-registration.
– All payments within plan are subject to a 4% processing fee per transaction.
RULES OF REGISTRATION
All campers must self-register for a retreat. Registration may not occur on behalf of another camper.
All campers must be 21 or over at the time the retreat occurs.
Additional terms and conditions apply, including those contained in the waivers and releases upon registration.
All campers are required to sign all waivers and releases included in registration.
All campers are required to sign a copy of The Horse Shoe Farm’s waiver upon arrival and check-in at the retreat.
FORCR MAJEURE
In the event anything happens at camp or camp is cancelled, directly or indirectly as a result of an any act of God, natural disaster, inevitable accident, fire, strike, lockout, or other labor dispute, riot or other civil commotion, act of public enemy, enactment, rule, order or act of government or governmental instrumentality (federal, state or local), failure of the Facility, or other cause of a similar or different nature not within Campowerment’s control, Campowerment shall not be responsible in any way for anything whatsoever, including without limitation, death, injury, property, and travel. The aforementioned notwithstanding, with respect to a Force Majeure cancellation of the Retreat, Campowerment, in its sole and absolute discretion, may provide Campers with a comparable substitute event to attend as scheduled by Campowerment at the original location or a replacement location as determined in the sole discretion of Campowerment, and subject to price increases/decreases in the event of increased or decreased costs resulting from the changed itinerary.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Campowerment and the venue are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
EXCEPTIONS
Campowerment reserves the right to update and modify terms and conditions at any time; it is your responsibility to monitor for any updates.
