“Start with a puja, a sacred space, where you practice reverence to whatever it is you care about in this time. ”

For more than 20 years, Heather Berg, E-RYT, has practiced many traditions of yoga, beginning with a 1990 “Intro to Sun Salutations” class at NYU. She found her true calling in her Vinyasa Krama training, where she learned to design intelligent sequencing with a specific intention.

Heather loves yoga because, “It’s the perfect opportunity to see who I really am. It brings me home.” We love Heather because her huge excitement for the art, sport and spiritual practice jumps off the mat.

She leads precisely cued, invigorating Vinyasa classes that cultivate breath and body awareness, *and* Yin classes that take students (Campers!) to a deeper level of sensitivity and stillness.

Heather’s passion is to share her enthusiasm of yoga and to create a positive experience for her students. Her teaching is an approach to practice and is not one particular style focused; she is mostly interested in teaching others to be discerning practitioners who can then integrate information for themselves. This way, Heather’s students will truly learn to practice yoga as a way of life that breathes differently in every body.
