Good news to anyone looking to help send more women to camp! Any Facebook user may support and/or post to ask that others support Give Her Camp, with payments collected directly through Facebook! Give Her Camp is Campowerment’s sister 501c(3) non-profit that sends deserving women to Campowerment Weekend Retreats on scholarship
Here’s how:
1. When posting a regular profile status post, scroll down a bit (below the color tiles underneath the text box) and choose “Support Nonprofit.”
2. Once you do, type Give Her Camp into the text box that appears, and voila!
3. Choosing select will embed the donate button into your post, where you can write whatever it is that you wish to share with your friends on FB. They will see the post as a Donate Button, which they can click to directly make a tax-deductible contribution, right there on Facebook!
Should your friends not want to donate through Facebook (note: it is as secure as any other online payment!), the option to make a donation on our secure site exists, too: givehercamp.org which now has donation boxes embedded on every page.
If anyone is donating on behalf of YOU, please ask that they write your name in the comment box on our site upon making the donation, so we know who to thank after we thank them!
