Fancy Camp: THE Revival

Fri, June 26 (2 p.m.) – Mon, June 29 (2 p.m.)

In Asheville, North Carolina

Campowerment is back with a new way of retreating, inviting campers to come home to themselves, each other and the community that’s missed every part of gathering (and you).

For this one, we’re going all the way inward and exploring, with renowned (and awesome) experts the ins & outs of better relationships – to ourselves, to more, to our bodies, to nature, to belief (especially when it’s hardest to find), to our place in the world, and to each other.

The format is Fancy Camp – a fulfilling, connective and upscale experience with an intimate group at The Horse Shoe Farm, an award-winning 85-acre luxury boutique resort in the foothills of Asheville, North Carolina.

Tickets are super-limited, and require your know-how before we release them Fri, Feb 20!

4 days, 3 nights of “ME” time to find your way (back) to the best parts of yourself and your life

Feeling hugged by the hills that surround an artfully designed, luxury boutique resort

Kindling friendships with exceptional women as drawn to this extraordinary experience as you are

Personal access to renowned experts, fully immersed in the experience with you

Fresh (and absolutely divine) farm-to-table food & drink, with intentional hospitality and gorgeous communal dining

Returning home totally refueled by fun, connection and clarity, like you haven’t known in far too long (or ever)

About the Venue

Thoughtfully designed for connection and renewal, The Horse Shoe Farm offers luxury accommodations, a serene spa sanctuary, and seasonal, farm-to-table dining in an unforgettable countryside setting. Questions & Answers

Four days, three nights. Friday, June 26 at 2 p.m. to Monday, June 29 at 2 p.m.

To be announced Thursday, February 12! Stay tuned on email and @Campowerment’s Facebook and Instagram 😉

Our home away from home for this retreat is The Horse Shoe Farm, located in Hendersonville, NC, less than 20 minutes from the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). Transportation guidance provided post-registration.

AIRPORTS TO CONSIDER:

  • Asheville Regional Airport (AVL): ~20 minutes from the farm
  • Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT): ~2 hours from the farm

We suggest you book flights in accordance with that distance, and knowing that we open Fancy Camp’s gates at 2 p.m. day 1 and close ’em at 2 p.m. on day 4.

As per ground transportation, ride share services (i.e. Uber/Lyft) are widely available, or you can coordinate with other campers via the Facebook group provided post-registration.

At this retreat, the on-site homes are beautiful and varied — each with a different layout, room types, and bed configurations. [See all layouts, here.]

On-site housing is assigned first-come, first-reserved during registration (one camper per bed). As such, during registration, you will choose:

  • Your house
  • Your room
  • Your bed

To note: Whether you choose a private room with a king bed or a shared room with a twin bed, the on-site ticket cost is the same ($3,750).

If any of these are important to you, register as soon as registration opens:

  • Private room
  • King bed
  • Sharing space with specific friends

Absolutely. Plan accordingly. Since accommodations are first-come, first-reserved, if you know you are coordinating housing with others and want to do your best to ensure that you can room together, be in communication prior to (and day of) registration, having done your homework to book a certain house and bed.

If you are registering as soon as tickets are live, you are most likely to get what you are hoping for.

To note: Not permitted: “saving” beds for others. Each registering camper must sign themselves up for their own bed, to keep the process fair for all.

Your Off-Site Ticket does not include accommodations, making this piece up to you. There are a ton of Airbnb and hotel options in Hendersonville (quite nearby The Horse Shoe Farm) and Asheville, too.

For reference, the farm is located at 155 Horse Shoe Road, Hendersonville, NC 28791.

We highly suggest doing your research between now and when registration opens so you can get comfortable with the options.

And if you’re new here or planning to come solo, please don’t sweat about having everything exactly worked out before you snag your Campowerment ticket. As soon as you register, you’ll be given a link to a private Facebook group, where you can connect with other registered Campers of this retreat. There, you can collaborate on where to stay — in a shared house, at the same hotel, or just nearby one another. Perhaps you rent a car together? This group should make that kind of planning simpler.

YOU CAN EXPECT:
A safe haven to get real
A deeper relationship to you
Connection to something bigger
Sense of belonging to a community of women who are for each other
Authentic friendships that last long beyond the campfire
More fun than you can even dream up

See what that looks like when you scroll up to the Sample Schedule. ⬆️⬆️⬆️

Our campers range in age from 21* to 83 (for real) and they take planes, trains & automobiles from all ends of the globe (U.S., Canada, UK, France, Australia, New Zealand). About 54% of them are repeat campers; 46% are first-timers.

Some are top Hollywood executives; others recent college grads; USPS employees; entrepreneurs; police officers; thrill-seekers; full-time moms; first-time managers; bloggers and beyond.

Actually, it’s kind of the best networking on the planet: because nobody** is allowed to say what she does for a living for the first 24 hours, so we get real personal, real quick! Will you fit in? Yes: promise.

*All campers must be 21 of age or older
**Except the experts

Absolutely! And about 20% do. Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet…

Campowerment will offer a private Facebook group that’s open only to the women registered for this retreat, as a place to connect, ask/answer questions, facilitate coordination of travel and keep in touch before and after this retreat. A link to that group will come in the welcome email within minutes of your registration.

At this retreat, we’ll be dining on site at The Silo Cookhouse for all meals except our final grab-and-go lunch. The restaurant is incredible— unique at every meal with dishes that “celebrate flavor, community, and a little something extra.” They’re known for their “modern farm-to-table dinner party” approach, and, of course, will meet all dietary preferences and needs for accommodations, which you’ll be asked to share in registration.

Should you crave a highly specific addition to a meal-based diet (i.e. you are a soda drinker and don’t want to go the weekend without a daily Diet Coke), please feel free to BYO. Have questions? Reach out to us at [email protected]

The Horse Shoe Farm features a phenomenal on-site spa with a unique menu of treatments, steps away from the goings on of Campowerment’s retreat. If you’d like to book a treatment, you’ll do so directly with The Stable Spa. Menu of services, booking directions and other information HERE.

Campowerment will pre-share the retreat schedule with all campers, to offer suggestions as to when you may want to book a treatment, if you so choose, without missing cornerstone programming.

The reality is we would like to open Give Her Camp scholarships to this retreat, but don’t yet know the feasibility. If interested, be sure you’re signed up to receive Campowerment emails to be the first to know if we’re able to make this happen (if so, likely in Spring).

If you would like to donate to Give Her Camp, which is currently paused for donations, please send an email to [email protected]. We will make plans accordingly, and only open donations if we are able to open scholarships to give.

Sure do. Available at check-out in the final step of registration, all payment plans feature 3 equal installments, 30 days apart, the first of which is paid at registration, the second and third of which are auto-deducted from the credit card used at registration 30 and 60 days post-registration. All payments within plan are subject to a 4% processing fee per transaction.

As far as attire, anything goes. We invite and encourage comfy clothes, athleisure and — oh yes — costumes for a featured night activity. We provide a packing list upon registration, and make sure to share everything you might want to have or need.

Both cell service and WiFi exist, and are usually good on the farm…and you shouldn’t need ‘em much. (Disconnection while at camp is good for the soul.)

We ask that you keep all phones on silent throughout the retreat. Use as your alarm in the morning and to tell time in the day, but please: no phone use in the presence of others.

Your loved ones back at home can leverage [email protected] if for any reason they can’t reach you…and should you need to dial-out but have a challenge doing so, we can hook you up with a phone to make it happen.

Read THIS for the skinny on everything you should know before we open registration February 20.

Read this page, and the page we keep linking to all over it (HERE), and join us for a virtual Info Session on Thursday, February 12 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT to address any additional questions you have, and to walk through the how-to’s below. Sign up HERE to be there; even if you can’t attend, all who RSVP will receive the video playback to watch before registration opens February 20.

Definitely. Send us a note HERE to share what’s on your mind. Our Campowerment Crew is here (and happy) to meet you where you are in your process 😊
